Vascular Access Specialists

Our Services

What We Do

Our Primary Services

Our primary services include the placement of ultrasound guided vascular access devices including PICC lines, midlines, and peripheral IV's. As a result, we can provide vascular access when other in house PICC teams or Hospital Physicians cannot, and we are successful with some of the most complex vascular access cases because of our extensive experience. We also provide education to nursing staff and patients.
  • PICC Placement: CT/power injectable/valved PICC line. Placed using max barrier sterile technique, using local anesthetic and ultrasound guided needle insertion to reduce risk of trauma and multiple sticks.
  • Midline Placement: CT/power injectable midline catheters. Approved for up to 4 weeks dwell time for patients who do not require a PICC.
  • Ultrasound Guided Peripheral IVs: Placed using ultrasound in order to maximize dwell time on the first stick with adequate blood return for lab draws.
